It may or may not suprise you to know:
a friend of mine who hapens to work for ASDA clearly stated to me the other week that ALL meat sold by ASDA is Halal.
I would envisage that the other supermarkets are the same now. It disgusts me that we should pamper to any religious food nonsense. An animal killed for its meat and skin (which our caveman ancestors used to do brutally) with the technology we have in the food industry today, should be carried out as humanely and as decently as possible. NO EXCUSES!
